Rebooting Production Printers
Printers: To initiate QR code printing on our printers, we'll need to begin by rebooting the Production Printers. You can locate the reboot button at the back of the printer (Refer to the image below for assistance).
Once you've hit the shutdown button, wait for 20 seconds before turning the printer back on. Just count to 20, and then flip the switch to restart it.
Once the printer has finished rebooting, it's very important for you to print out a few tags and labels to ensure that the QR codes are printing correctly.
Note: If the QR code doesn't print correctly, simply reboot the printer. There's no need to worry if this occurs.
Talking Points to Production Employees:
• QR Code labels will need to be placed on a flat surface so the scanners can read it.
• Please take the tag and labels that you printed out to the register to ensure they are ringing up correctly.
• Please remind employees not to access the ‘DO NOT TOUCH. IT’ folder.
